A Rainy Day | Remember
A rainy day is a day when it rains a lot. A rainy day is a common scene in Bangladesh during the rainy season. Sometimes, it drizzles and sometimes, it rains in torrents. After the heavy rain, tanks, ponds, rivers etc. become full to the brim and roads go under water. Sometimes, because of a shower of rain, the roads become muddy and slippery. On a rainy day, the sky remains cloudy and the sun is seldom seen. Birds remain in their nests. Animals take a safe shelter. Trees and plants also look gloomy. People get drenched. In the town and city area, the roads and streets go under water and become unsuitable for walking for the time being. It is usually a dull and gloomy day. It brings misery to the poor because they cannot go out to earn money to support their family. As a result, they have to starve. But the rich enjoy the rainy day much sitting in the corner of the house. Madrasah going boys and girls don't go to madrasah because their classes are not held. They stay at home. Some of them take a bath in the rain. They feel happy on a rainy day. It is a great joy to them.
