A Winter Morning
The winter is undoubtedly the coldest season of the six seasons of Bangladesh. A winter morning is cold morning of the season. The environment is dull and dismal. There remains fog all around in winter. Everything looks hazy at a distance. As a result, the communication system is hampered. It causes much hardship to the people. People put on different kinds of warm clothes to protect their body from cold. The sun having risen, the old and the children enjoy basking in the sun to get rid of cold. They gather straw and make fires at different places to warm themselves in the heat. People enjoy eating very tasteful cakes which are called 'Pithas' in Bangla. The date juice sellers become busy for selling date juice from door to door. I like a winter morning for its natural beauty. The dew drops fallen on the grass and the leaves sparkle like pearls in the rays of the morning sun. But a winter morning is not pleasant for all. The cold wheather is harmful for the poor because they have no warm clothes to protect their body from cold. They stay at home till the touch of the sun-rays. People feel very lazy. They get up late when the sun peeps through the pall of mist. The touch of the sun-rays returns the spirit of work to the people. Farmers and all kinds of workers go to different places and begin their day's work.
