An Exciting Cricket Match I Have Recently Enjoyed
Nowadays cricket is a very popular game in our country. It is a game of glorious uncertainty. Any time and anyhow the expected result may change. So, there is a continual attraction and tension among the viewers. And this is why, this game is very popular with us. I have witnessed many exciting cricket matches. Among them, the match between India and Pakistan in the Twenty-20 World Cup Cricket is an exciting match in my life. It was the final match. Being the Twenty-20 World Cup final match, it had created a tremendous excitement and suspense among the cricket lovers all over the world. The games started amidst huge enthusiasms and crowd in the stadium in South Africa. India bated first and reached a comfortable score of hundred and sixty seven runs. Chasing the run, Pakistan lost some quick wickets in the middle of their innings. At one time, it seemed that they were going to be defeated by a huge margin. But Misbah-ul-Haque and Sohail Tanvir at the last wicket partnership rekindled hope among the supporter, and lifted their position from an almost losing state to the winning position. This gave the match a dramatic excitement. Pakistan came out from its ashes to win the match with four balls to spare to make six runs. But an irresponsible shot by Misbah-ul-Haque dug the grave for Pakistan. India won only by five runs and clinched the first title of the Twenty- 20 World-Cup championship. It was really a nerve-shaking cricket match that I have ever watched. I really enjoyed the match and my enjoyment reached its climax (P~ovš- chovq) as my favourite team India won it.
